After The Storm

One of my favorite things in cities is when buildings are haphazardly built on top of each other. Ever-changing architectural design, budget constraints, housing codes, and city permit limits combine together to create a shit show of an urban landscape. But it is a nice shit show. It gives the city character.

It was storming all morning, but I anxiously waited for the first chance I could get to hang out my window with my camera to capture the after-storm. There’s just something about the air after the rain in the winter that is so crisp and refreshing. It’s amazing to spend the rest of the day in bed with a giant glass of Diet Coke with a chill breeze throughout the apartment, staring out my huge windows overlooking the Village.
